Website traffic and privacy
Kontain keeps aggregate counts of page views, link clicks, referral domains and approximate country, region and city. These counts use no cookies, browser storage, fingerprinting or visitor profiles. Names, emails, form contents, full IP addresses and URL query strings are not collected by this measurement. Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals stop it.
Counts are stored through Kontain’s website hosting services and combined with its other two websites in a private weekly report. Hosting providers may process data outside Australia. Temporary random event references prevent duplicate counts, have a one-day expiry and are removed on the next traffic request. They can remain longer during inactivity. They identify an event rather than a visitor. Page views are not distinct people or sessions, and locations are estimates.
